I consider the above pair of sandals.. "Statement Sandals" {That's a Cathleen term by the way} The LARGE sparkles and straps make these shoes stand out... They definitely set a statement! 

I think that statement sandals are a staple {whew! alliteration} For the calmer and softer outfits.. A pair of statement sandals add that big sha-bang that simple outfits need.
