Cycler's Rest - A Weekend Away

Happy Weekend my lovely readers...

Lately my mom has been obsessed with Air BnB. She's been saving cute "instagramable" "aesthetically pleasing" rooms all over the place for us to stay at. We've visited Table Rock a lot in the past, and always passed through Traveler's Rest and talked about exploring the town. It only seemed fitting that our first Air BnB booking was in Traveler's Rest.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the tour of this cute little place on my instagram story. I'm pretty sure I haven't stayed in a place this cute in a really long time... Y'all, there were fresh tulips and succulents in the windows. The furniture, the artwork, the everything was just too adorable starting from the personalized chalkboard that welcomed us to Cycler's Rest (okay so the snacks and orange juice our hostess left were super sweet too).

During our stay we actually never got around to spending time in Traveler's Rest... we went thrift store shopping in Anderson, and enjoyed some bluegrass music at Table Rock State Park. It even snowed during our stay... which fellow South Carolinians will understand what an oddity that was.

Sometimes a brief weekend away from your typical routine is all you need. Cycler's Rest left me relaxed and inspired. Parabo Press

A few weeks ago I was perusing Instagram, and I stumbled across Parabo Press. Upon seeing their simple logo, a perfectly balanced feed between bright colors and simple white, and unique company name... I decided to follow and further look into who they are/what they're about/what they do. Needless to say, I was ridiculously impressed with what I saw!

Parabo Press is an app (now, website) that aspiring photographers, photographers, and creative minds alike can all order beautiful, high quality prints of their photographs! Can I just say, as a photographer, it's great to see your photographs somewhere other than your instagram feed, camera roll, etc. It's such a great feeling to see your photographs published on someone else's feed, blog, or heck, if you're lucky enough to have one in an online magazine! Anyways, it's great to see them published somewhere else online, however it's even greater to see your pictures on a piece of paper and be able to hold them in your hand. When I received my 25 Parabo Square prints, I was filled with so much pride and joy at seeing my work on paper and being able to hold it, hang it, and post it up on the wall.

Not only does seeing my photos printed make me happy, but cute packaging sure does the trick too! My prints came in the cutest cardboard mailer - with the Parabo logo on it - and in a zippered bag to keep them safe as they made the trip from the print shop in Mumbai!

Basically you have two options when ordering from Parabo Press.

1) Upload photos from your computer + order
2) Upload photos from your iPhone or Android mobile phone to the Parabo app

I chose the latter when placing my order for 25 square prints, because at the time of my order, the website ordering was not an option. Lucky you, you have a choice in the matter! You can't go wrong with either option!

However, Parabo Press does not only sell square prints! They have a plethora of products available to order. From glass prints to large Engineer prints, from a photo calendar to a risograph print (quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen) Parabo has some super cool products that you can order with your own photographs!

I'm planning on ordering something else from Parabo Press in the future, but for my first order I wanted to test out their service as well as get something small that I could use when decorating my room. I arranged these prints on my wall and hung them up with gold/white thumbtacks (if you don't want to stick holes in your wall, or if you're in the dorms... Krass & Co { RunRunner Pants } Review

A while back I applied to be a campus rep for Krass & Co because I absolutely love this brand! My long time readers know that it's a rare occasion that I feature brands on my blog... so you know that I'm actually a true fan of this brand. You might not recognize the company from these pants... but you've probably seen their shorts on Instagram or Pinterest before! Yes, their products are a little pricey but they are definitely worth it. These RunRunner pants are some of the most comfortable things I've ever put on my legs. 

These pants have the cutest printed band around the waist as well as around the ankles. They have a hidden pocket perfect for your phone or iPod to fit in while you go for a run - and who doesn't love a good pocket! The Krass & Co RunRunner pants also have seams so if your school has a dress code... These leggings are a perfect fit! You can either choose solid black leggings, the pair I have in the pattern: sweet bee, black in the pattern: secret garden, and navy with the pattern: veranda. In other words, you can't go wrong with any pattern of RunRunner pants! 

The sizing is pretty accurate, I got a size 4 and they fit just right. The only thing I don't like is that because I'm a little on the short side... so the patterned ankles don't exactly line up right on my ankles. I don't really know how to explain other than the fact that I'm not quite tall enough for them to fit exactly right. But they're still adorable and I know I'm going to get a LOT of wear out of these!

Carde Blanche

On Saturday, I was sore as heck from my huge workout on Friday.. What does this have to do with stationery you might ask? Hang tight.. And my mom just kept telling me that if I continued to walk, my legs would feel better. She suggested that for starters, I go get the mail. I walked down the driveway... slowly, but surely... and was so excited to see a white box addressed to me from Carde Blanche! It came right when I needed a day-brightener.. Little did I know just how bright this package would be! As you can see from the photo above and my instagram photo the bright orange tissue paper wrapped around my beautiful stationery. On top of the fabulous, orange wrapping was this gold dots tape with my initials on stickers on top! How could you not smile at opening this package???

As soon as I had read the letter from Lori (because my momma taught me to ALWAYS read the cards before opening) I tore right into the package. My sister said my face lit up after I pulled out the perfectly packaged stationery! 

But wait y'all, there's more! These little perfect rolls of washi tape! So beautiful... I haven't used it yet, but I cannot wait to do some envelope decorating with it! Here's one of the patterns...

This photo turned out a LOT lighter than the others hahaha, but HOW CUTE are these tapes??

And all of them together... I'm LOVING the gold arrow tape! 

I'm familiar with Poppin, and I love all of their products. Seeing this bright pink pen, only added to my excitement and joy.

Gold? Mhmmm... I think yes. 

NOW, this set is my most favorite out of the ones I received. How beautiful are these cards? Not only are the outfits on point, but the drawings are just perfect! They also great style inspiration... I've been trying to choose my favorite outfit, and I just can't! What's your favorite?

Also, a Le Pen? A blue Le Pen? Oh my goodness.. Lori, you know me so well! I have a slight obsession over writing in blue pen.

Basically, in conclusion... Carde Blanche's products are amazing, and I am obsessed. But honestly, how could you not be obsessed with their site?! Succulents cards, Neon, Scallops, Gel pens, Le Pens, Sealing wax... It's beautiful. Also, if you can't make your mind up as to which cards to purchase.. Choose the grab bag! The products are very nicely packed, and my cards weren't bent or damaged in the smallest way. I was VERY impressed, and will definitely be placing an order from them in the future for more stationery.

Amy Ruth Designs

I. Am. The. Worst. Blogger. Ever. 

That's literally all that has been going through my mind this week.. and last week.. I love writing, I love reading other blogs, I love sharing my life and opinions with y'all and school is not letting me do that!! AP Human Geography is going to be the end of me! It is taking away pretty much all the free time I have.. Same with English, Science, and all those other fun classes! I am so sorry y'all! I have not forgotten about any of y'all! Every single day I go to bed all frustrated because I didn't get a chance to blog, or finish painting my room!! I feel so unaccomplished in my actual life outside of school work and tests and all of those other joy filled assignments.. Okay, enough ranting and raving. 

Basically, this afternoon, I got a surprise package in the mail! Well, not a complete surprise but I had no idea when it would come or what was in it.. So yes. A surprise package. Anyways, I flipped out! I was super duper excited!!! It was from Amy Ruth Designs.. and if you have not heard of their site, um you need to check it out now. Perfect does not even start to describe how I feel about Amy Ruth Designs. Anyways.. I was sent some items, and I am DYING to show you!

This is a very J.Crew- esque case.. I'm obsessed! I love saying hello (I mean who doesn't?) and I love navy and gold.. So overall this is perfection! 

I love snail mail.. I love writing little notes to people and these cards are just the right size for either snail mailing or thank you notes! P.S. let me know if you ever want to know do a bit of snail mailing with me! I would love to exchange info with you! 

Would you get a look at these prints... Oh good gracious! Seahorses, polka dots, flamingos, colorful anchor polka dots, umbrellas, and blue coral.. Ahh.. This is so perfect! I am obsessed! 100% obsessed! 

This paisley patterned agenda.. I already have a Kate Spade agenda, but you can never have enough agendas! Right? Oh definitely! Oh my gosh this is perfect!  I will use this to schedule all of my blog posts, giveaways, trips, everything oh my gosh I am so excited to use this! 

Here's a peek at the inside cover.. The print is to die for! And I love starting off an agenda with a quote.. It's so calming and inspiring.. AND I promise that this little book will be filled up with quotes for inspiration and other lovely things like that!

Oh my gosh.. These nautical patterns are perfect. No, scratch that. They are BEYOND perfect! And again.. I am obsessed!!! 

I'm anchor obsessed. Wait, let's expand on that! I'm obsessed with all things nautical! This is an adorable 2 pack of mini notebooks... Literally perfect! 

Sorry about the orientation again.. but honestly, this is so cute.. I'm obsessed y'all. 

Sailboats are amazing. I love sailboats and stripes! This is a spiral notebook.. which I will more than likely use for all things Classy Cathleen.. Or APHG I need bright colors to lighten my mood in that class. But this is perfection!
