Picking off where I left off…
We were pretty slow getting up and at ‘em today. Like maybe
breakfast at 10:30 am, and we just took our own sweet time getting out of the
hotel. The plans for the day were to head over to Animal Kingdom and spend a
nice afternoon there.. Until the tears came from my sister while waiting in
line for Dinosaur. She was extremely tired because of her lack of sleep last
night. My younger brother had wanted to continue on, and ride more rides, but
he also wanted to go swim in the pool over at the resort… so we walked around
for about 15 minutes more, and caught the bus back to The Beach Club.
When we got back to the room, there was a table set up with sparkling apple cider, chocolate covered strawberries, and an anniversary note to my parents from my Oma and Opa. My parents’ anniversary is in June, but we celebrated while we were there.
The pool is incredible. It’s heated, has sand on the bottom,
and it’s huge. It even has a little beach area for you to build sandcastles, or
anything! The hot tubs are beautiful on the outside. Like we’re talking rocks,
a waterfall, it’s beautiful. I didn’t bring my camera to the pool… but I did
snap a quick picture of part of it just on my phone.
After that it was about dinner time, so we came back to the
room where my sister was napping. We got all dried off, changed clothes, and
went over to the lounge to pick up some dinner. We brought a tray back with a
bunch of food back into the room so my sister could keep on napping. We woke
her up around 7 so we could walk on over to Epcot to watch Illuminations.
Naturally, I left my camera at home haha so no pictures of tonight I guess... Wow
this is one super short journal entry... Honestly just nothing huge happened in
the parks, it was just a super quiet, and relaxing day.
