Blogging Every Day Challenge {Day 22}

Hey Y'all,

For this week.. I think I'm sticking with my blogging challenge, so that I can get caught up in a few other places. I promise I will be 100% back next week:)

Question: Do you use a blog planner? Why does it help your blog?

Answer: I do use a blog planner. I honestly don't know what I would do without it! It allows me to see exactly what I'm going to write, and when I'm going to write it. I can also write down any ideas that I have for blog posts later in the month. I am the type of person that has to be planned out. If I'm not.. let's just say my thoughts are everywhere.

Hey Y'all,
HAPPY EASTER! Easter is one of my favorite holidays.. I love knowing that Jesus died on the cross for my sins more than a thousand years before I was even born.

It's another day in April, so it's another day in my Blogging Challenge!

Question: What does your family do for Easter?

Answer: Right now, I'm coming home from the mountains here in SC. My family and I usually go to church Easter morning. My brother really likes Veggie Tales. Sometimes we will watch an Easter themed Veggie Tales.. It really just depends on what my parents feel like doing!

Blogging Every Day Challenge {Day 16}

Hey Y'all,

Not only do I write posts on my own blog.. But I also read posts on other peoples' blogs. I really enjoy reading blogs.. I like seeing other people's writing styles, and what they're interested in.

Question: What are two of your favorite blogs?

Answer: Wow.. This is difficult! I like so many blogs.. For right now, two of my favorites are Ashleigh's blog, The Darling Prepster and Emily's blog, Pinch of Em. Both of these bloggers have fabulous photos, and use a colorful vocabulary! Whenever I see a new post from one of them in my Bloglovin' feed... Let's just say I smile when I see their blog header pop up!

I hope your day has been lovely so far:) Let's look at today's question..

Question: What's something in the news that you feel is a big deal?

Answer: Autism Awareness Month. April is Autism Awareness month.. Being aware of autism is a very big deal to me, as you know if you read Are you aware? A couple weeks ago. It's not really something that's been in the news as a major headline story type of thing.. But it is a big deal!

I have been loving this month so far! April has been working out good for me so far *Insert knock on wood here*

Question: What do you do after school/after work?

Answer: I catch up on my blog, I try to read a good book, and I eat a healthy snack! I try to have some "quiet time" when I get home.. But we all know that's difficult with so much work to catch up on!

Answer: Peanut butter and apples! I love peanut butter, and I love apples.. You put them together and I am obsessed:) But that's not my only favorite.. Grapes, graham crackers, pineapple gelato, are my top favorites right now, but I bet that will change soon!

I have so many favorite songs.. It's kind of crazy actually! If I hear a song with a good tune on iTunes radio.. Then I know it's my new favorite! I usually hold favorite songs for a week? Maybe two.. Then I find another new song that I love a lot more!

Blogging Every Day {Day 9}

Hey Y'all,
What's your favorite season? I think mine is without a doubt, Spring. I love the pastel colors, the bright flowers, the bees buzzing, but I love seeing a Robin sitting on my fence first thing in the morning.

Question: Have you seen a robin yet this month?

Answer: I have a fence and apple trees at my house. Robins absolutely love sitting on the branches of my apple trees and sitting on top of the fence. Of course I forgot that this prompt was in this month's challenge... So I didn't get a picture of the robins!

Answer: I enjoy taking pictures of flowers. I love capturing all of the details that God put into these flowers! The flowers that I really enjoy taking pictures of are daffodils! Daffodils are my absolute favorites..

Blogging Every Day {Day 6}

Hey Y'all,
Happy, Happy, HAPPY Sunday! It's the first Sunday of April... I hope that you have had a wonderful morning, and hopefully a great rest of your day as well!

Question: What are your Spring Break plans?

Answer: My Spring Break comes in a couple of weeks... I can't wait! For spring break, I am going to Oconee State Park. I will be staying in one of there cabins for around a week. I love the mountains of South Carolina. All the lakes, hikes, everything...

I will be posting pictures of my "adventures" at Oconee while I'm at the park.

Blogging Every Day Challenge {Day 5}

Hey Y'all,
It's the first Saturday, of April 2014. Isn't that neat to think about? I mean.. There will never be another day like today for the rest of your life! Today is the only day like today. Make the most of today. Don't let another day slip on by without importance. {There's some motivation for your weekend:) Your welcome!}

Question: What is the last thing you purchased?

Answer: I only wear one kind of foundation. It is the Guerlain Terracotta Skin Healthy Glow Foundation. I first became introduced to this foundation at the French Pavilion in Epcot at Disney World. The lady told me that if you mix it with moisterizer, it won't clog your pores and you make it match any skin tone! This stuff has been amazing. I have been on one tube since November 2013, and I just now ran out. Nordstrom apparently has it so I ordered it from their website. My area currently does not have a Nordstrom, but I heard that they are replacing Barnes and Noble with Nordstrom.. Kind of sad, but I'm the smallest bit excited! {link}

Blogging Every Day Challenge {day 4}

Hey y'all,

This week has been a lovely first week of April... I hope yours has gone well too:) Happy 4th day of April! 

Question: What is your favorite spring color? 

Answer: I love pastels. Especially in Spring! I feel that pastels bring out a bright and happy person just like the bright and happy season:) Of all the pastel colors, I would have to say that a pale pink, and a light blue will forever be favorites of mine.

In the above picture, I love the "Frou Frou Pink" and "Butter Mint". They remind me of Cotton Candy.. If I had to pick a 3rd, 4th, and 5th favorites from the above palette, I would go with: "Blue Skies", "Mellow Yellow", then "Cafe a lait". I don't feel like brown is a "springy" color. Pale and light colors fit better with this time of year:)

Blogging Every Day Challenge {Day 3}

Hey Y'all,
Happy April 3rd! It's time for another post in my blogging challenge:)

Question: What is the average temperature where you live?

Answer: I live in South Carolina. Average temperature is around 50-60 degrees... Except late Spring and Summer {Summer lasts until about October...} Then the low is about 65 degrees... I love warm South Carolina days! When it gets past 85 degrees, I can't stand it.. Unless I'm at the pool or the beach, of course.

This past Winter was crazy! It snowed. TWICE! Here, In South Carolina! We're not supposed to get snow that sticks... Or at least, it doesn't happen very often! I mean school was out for 5 days.. That's really crazy for South Carolina!

Hopefully this Spring will warm up more quickly.. We are still getting some chilly mornings. And then in the afternoons it's just around 70... For the most part, I love South Carolina weather!

Question: What is your favorite thing about Spring?

Answer: Flowers! I love flowers.. Especially daffodils. I really enjoy taking pictures of all the flowers this season. Y'all probably know that though.. I post a lot of pictures of flowers on my blog and on instagram:)
