Lilly Pulitzer for Target

Lilly Pulitzer for Target picks!

Who would I be if I didn't blog about Lilly for Target... Am I right? No, but seriously y'all are probably sick or just dying in anticipation for the collab that will go live (from what I've seen) between 1-3 am EST. I will be online. I can promise you that. I will be staying up with my gal from Chicago (check out her blog, she's the sweetest!) , Kath getting ready for the sale and hopefully successfully scooping our most favorite pieces from the collection. So... Without further-a-do, here are my favorite pieces that I hope to score!

Halter top in Pineapple Punch // Tassel Scarf in Boom Boom // Challis Pom Pom shorts in Upstream // iPhone Case in Fan Dance // iPhone Case in Sea Urchin You // Porcelain Dessert Plates Set of Four // Beaded Headwrap in White and Gold

So best of luck to everyone shopping online and in stores! Remember to be nice (PLEASE) and I hope you get all that you want :)

Splurge vs. Save {part 2}

Hey y'all,
Happy Wednesday! When Erin from Credit Card Insider asked me to write about splurging and saving, I was super excited. Personally, I love saving up my money and having the look for less. I think it's much more practical then just throwing down a stack of money every time you see something that you like.

I wrote yesterday about one bracelet that instead of paying the full $125, I payed $20 for an almost exact lookalike. Today, I wanted to share another great deal!

Michael Kors watches are perfect. They are also very expensive. I can understand splurging on something if it's high quality or if you have wanted it for a long time. If you are just in need of a watch... I would try Target!

The rosegold watch that I had originally wanted was $195 . The one that I got from Target was $16.99. It tells time, and looks great with other bracelets in jewelry stacks.

Let's take one more look at that Michael Kors watch..

I'm so very happy that I purchased my watch from Target instead of Micheal Kors. I have nothing on Michael Kors, it's just that you don't always need the best of the best brands to be happy and fashionable!

Splurge vs. Save {Part 1)

Hey Y'all,
I have been wanting the J.Crew pave link bracelet for the longest time. We all know that J.Crew can be a little pricey at times.. Especially with their jewelry! This one bracelet was priced at $125 on the J.Crew website. Most people don't pay that much just for a bracelet.. I searched and searched for a better, and cheaper alternative.

This bracelet is just beautiful! Guess where it's from! Target! How much did it cost me? $20.

Let's take a look at that J.Crew one again..

The only difference I see is the clasp and the little disk that says J.Crew. Other than that.. I'd say they are almost exact look a likes.

I'm a HUGE fan of saving instead of splurging. I love being able to have a great look for much less than the first person paid for it!

Actually right now Credit Card Insider is having a Splurge vs. Save campaign. I think this is just a fabulous idea! Like I just said, I love saving money instead of spending it all willy nilly all over the place!

Be sure to check out the blog tomorrow for a part 2 to this post! I have another item that I would love to share with y'all:)

What is your latest Splurge VS. Save story?

Target Accessories

Hey Y'all,
Recently I was looking at Target's website, because I had a gift card... I immediately started looking at their accessories! I only had $25 on the gift card.. so I wasn't expecting anything super special. I did find two things that I ended up purchasing... And a few other items that I just thought I should share with y'all:)

So.. Let's first talk about deals and stuff going on right now. At least yesterday, I saw that there was a buy one get one 50% off deal on all accessories for Mother's Day!

Here's a few of my favorites:
Some of my older readers might remember an old post of mine about tortoiseshell. I love how this bracelet has tortoiseshell and gold all as little links to the bracelet! {link}

And another tortoiseshell link bracelet. This one has more than one row of chain. I love this! Target used to not have any tortoiseshell anything! I love that they do now.. {link}

How adorable is this? I love it! This bracelet is adorable... {link}

This actually is one of my absolute favorites from all of these picks. I actually ordered it too! I love the mix of gold and leather together. {link}

I love this pave link style bracelet! The J.Crew one is absolutely perfect... But this one is a pretty good dupe for it. Especially if you aren't one for spending more than $50 on a bracelet. {link}

If you've read any of my Five on Friday posts.. Then you probably know how much I love tassel necklaces! This necklace from Target is pretty cute.. I love the pale blue and silver together. {link}

Oh. My. Gosh. Y'all look at this watch! I am in love... Gold and Tortoise together is just perfect! {link}

I love the rose gold metal. I think it looks fabulous on watches! If you are not the type of person who spends a large amount on designer watches.. I think this watch is a much better option. {link}

I have never seen anything like this before! It's the pave link bracelet.. On a necklace! I love this. {link}

Printed scarves are lovely. Tassels are lovely. Printed scarves with tassels are even lovelier! Coral is also one of my favorite colors. It is so bright and bold. {link}

That's about all of my picks from Target's accessories. Just thought I would share a deal and some lovely items with you:) Hope you enjoyed!

Bringing Out My Inner Penguin

Hey ya'll,

As you can probably already know, I'm from the south.. If you're smart you probably know that because i say "ya'll". Anyways, here where I live, it's not supposed to get colder than 20 degrees. And today it went WAY lower than that. I HATE COLD WEATHER. Anyways, so I had to dress super warmly today... 2 pairs of socks... 2 pairs of leggings... Big Sweater... Yeah, I was pretty bundled up... Ok so let's get into the outfit!

This picture shows my leggings, boots, and the bottom part of my sweater.

This is my LOVELY penguin sweater from Old Navy. I wasn't sure if this sweater would fit me when I first saw it. It was actually in the kid's section but it was an extra large. I was so excited when it fit! I love it sooo much. It's soft, and warm AND it has a penguin on them! It doesn't get any better than that!!!

This pictures shows a little bit of the print on my penguin! It's kind of a Fairisle print...

Sweater: Old Navy
