Hey Y'all,
I came up with an idea the other day to welcome Summer with a little "Pre-Summer Interview" with a few of my favorite bloggers and company owners. I thought it would be a neat way to draw some attention to these lovely ladies and their products and blog posts. Today, I will be featuring Hunter from Prep On A Budget. Prep on a Budget is one of my most favorite blogs. On this blog, you will find a variety of posts. Hunter posts about everything from fashion to tips, and she gives fabulous tips and advice! She is just an overall classy person, and you seriously need to check out her blog!
Let's get to know Hunter a little better through her answers in this "Pre- Summer Interview":
1. What are you looking forward to this Summer?
Going to NYC to attend the Smart Girls Summit and visit some colleges.
2. Do you have any big ideas planned for your blog this season? Any new series that your readers should be looking forward to?
Nothing too big planned and no new series either, just the usual.
3. What do you think will be "trending" this Summer?
High-Waisted swimsuits! I have been seeing them everywhere.
4. What is your go to pair of shoes for the upcoming season?
My Joie Nice Sandals. They are so comfy!
5. What are some of the items on your "Want List" for this Summer?
There isn't too much that I want actually, but I'm sure I will end up with a new pair of shoes. That always seems to be the case.
6. What is your favorite song at the moment?
Right now, I am really liking Peace by OAR.
7. What is your favorite quote?
"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm Possible" -Audrey Hepburn
8. Do you have any advice for any advice for any "newbie bloggers"?
Have fun, be yourself, and make it a positive experience. It can be stressful at times but, for the most part, it really should be a fun and exciting experience.
9. What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I like to write, read, or hang out with my friends!
10. What inspires you?
People. I know that sounds so cliche, but it is absolutely true. I find people so inspiring, interesting, and beautiful! It never ceases to amaze me the things we can do if we put our mind to it.
Hunter- Thanks so very much for answering these questions for me and Welcoming Summer with this short little interview:)

{Blogging Tips} Communication with Hunter
I am pleased to have Hunter from www.preponabudget.com over here with us today. As you know.. I have just recently started this Blogging Tips Series, and I am so glad to have one of my favorites here to discuss an important part of blogging: Communication. I hope that you enjoy all that she has to say, and make sure you go check her out! {Also, if you want to be a part of my Blogging Tips Series, all you have to do is email me!}
Last week Cathleen emailed me asking if I would like to be a part of a new series she is hosting on her blog: the blogger tip series! I thought this sounded like a great idea so I immediately jumped on board to write a post on one of the most important tips to keep in mind while blogging.
One thing I cannot stress enough about blogging is, it is all about communication. No matter what you will be constantly communicating with other bloggers, sponsors, companies, etc. And it is important that you know the right way to communicate!
When I first started blogging, I had never really needed to communicate on a larger scale; however, I soon realized how important it was that I did. After the first month I made sure I kept commenting on blogs and finding new blogs as well. This process A) forced me to communicate better and B) expanded my reading horizon. I met so many great bloggers just through commenting!
The next point of communication that is vital to blogging is email. I send emails all the time and it is my main way of keeping in contact with my sponsors, as well as my blogging friends and my mentor. You should always keep a professional persona when you email, especially for sponsors and companies. Only once you get to know that person should be more casual. Oh, and never be afraid to reach out to fellow bloggers or companies! It will definitely help out in the long run!
Lastly, you should always keep a good image on your social media outlets. These are probably the biggest areas of communication you will have as a blogger so it is important to keep them up to date. I tend to slack on Twitter mostly because I am not used to using it-- I never really jumped on the bandwagon when it came out haha; but, I love using Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook and I always make sure I keep those updated. Social media tends to create the most "buzz" about you and your blog, so I would create a few accounts for your blog if you haven't yet!
So, those are my tips on communicating for bloggers! I am so happy to be a part of this series and so thankful to Cathleen for inviting me :)

Valentine's Day Outfits with Hunter!
Hey Ya'll,
I have asked Hunter from Preponabudget.com, If she would write a guest post for me, and she agreed! Make sure you check out the post that I wrote on Hunter's blog: I hope you enjoy this amazing post!
To start off this post, I would like to thank Cathleen for inviting me to guest post on her blog. She recently did a guest post for my blog, Prep on a Budget, and it was a huge success!
Hands down, Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays. It definitely helps that I have a wonderful boyfriend to share it with haha, but nonetheless, it is a holiday that can be enjoyed by everyone! To help you enjoy this wonderful holiday I created a set of very festive outfits. Be ready for a lot of pink!
I thought it would be best to create a variety of outfits, since we all have different ways of spending our V-Day.
The first outfit is a classy, casual look; perfect for any brunch date or night out at the movies!
The middle look is for those who have something a little fancier planned; maybe a party or nice dinner!
Lastly, I created a look for the stay in celebrators. This is the go-to outfit if you plan on staying in and watching a romantic movie or maybe even hosting a chick flick night with the girls!
All of the outfits pair perfectly with any of the accessories and shoes featured, as well!
What are you planning for your Valentines Day?
Once again, a big thanks to Cathleen for inviting me to post! I had so much fun creating these outfits and writing this post!
